This Privacy Policy explains how Libautech SIA("we", "us") handles personal data on the website shoptank.io(the "Site"). It covers the marketing website only. Personal data processed by the Shoptank Shopify app inside a merchant's store, such as store data, product data and query tracking, is governed by the app's own terms and the agreements presented on its Shopify App Store listing.

Who we are

What we collect

The Site has no accounts and no forms, so we do not ask for your name, email or payment details. What we do collect is usage data:

• First-party analytics. We log page views, clicks and events. For each we record a visitor id and a session id (from two cookies), the page path, the page you came from, any UTM parameters, your IP address, an approximate location (country, region and city) derived from that IP, your browser user agent, and a timestamp. This is stored on our own servers and is used only to understand and improve how the Site is used.
• Your cookie choice. When you accept or decline cookies, we store that choice in your browser so we do not have to ask again.
• Google Analytics (optional).Loaded only if you press "Accept" on the cookie banner, and only when a measurement ID is configured. If you decline, it never loads.

Cookies and similar technologies

• lb_vid (first-party, necessary for analytics): a random visitor identifier, kept up to about two years.
• lb_sid (first-party): a random session identifier, kept for 30 minutes.
• Cookie choice: your accept or decline preference, stored in your browser's local storage.
• Google Analytics cookies: set by Google only after you press Accept.
• YouTube: pages that embed a video, including the homepage and some blog posts, may set YouTube cookies when the video loads or plays.

Third-party services

Our first-party analytics stay on our own servers. The Site also relies on:

• Cloudflare to deliver and protect the Site. It processes connection data, such as your IP address, to route and secure traffic.
• Google for Google Analytics (only with your consent) and for embedded YouTube videos. Data handled by these features may be processed by Google.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this Site.
• The Site has no account system and stores no passwords.

International data transfers

Where Google Analytics or an embedded YouTube video is used, some data may be transferred to the United States under the transfer safeguards those providers rely on, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. If you decline cookies, Google Analytics does not load.

Legal basis and retention

First-party, strictly necessary analytics are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in measuring and improving this Site. Consent-gated analytics (Google Analytics) are processed on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by declining or clearing cookies for this Site. Analytics records are retained for up to 24 months.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or EEA, under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to or restrict processing, and request portability. You may also lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In Latvia this is the Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and any material change will be reflected here.
